Textile print design on The Reversible Abaya and Hijab, a modern take on the age-old motif, Parva (the moon) and Udaya (the sun).
Hand blockprinted on 100% organic cotton voile in Jaipur, India.

Parva
An age-old motif that has been translated widely across Central Asia, this print speaks to the full and changing journey of the moon. Elusive in its wax and wane repeat and hand block printed on organic cotton, the geometric Parva print is reimagined as a parallel of the moon in a stretch of rippling waters.

Udaya
The Udaya motif helms its inspiration from the ornate opulence of traditional South Asian jewelry. This print calls to the journey of a full and brimming sun moving with time in its rise and fall, a story and symbol revered for the day.
